I love football! I would rather be playing it than wacthing it. I relized though that, that is not possible anymore since I tore my calf muscle a year and a half ago playing flag-football at Rogers State University when I was trying to get my BA in Business Amin. and my Osgood-Schlatters Disease in my knee flares up I was suppose to grow out of it when I was 21yrs old but that was a big fat lie. As you can tell my body is not as in shape as it was 17yrs ago when I played freshman football in high school. I was the only girl on the team but that didn't matter to me or the rest of the players but it ticked the coach off so much that he made it unbearable for me to play so I quit without a fight. That was probably one of the biggest regrets of my life. I loved being active in all kinds of sports but my body hates me when I try to. I guess it has been hard for me to accept this but I have to. My husband doesn't understand why that is so hard for me. He thinks that because I'm in so much pain with my legs that it should be a very easy thing to do, but it's not. I think I could deal better if I was an Athletic Director or something so I could have something to do with sports without actually doing them, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. So I must turn my attention to the OU SOONERS and hope they bring us another fictory.

Oh, I can understand perfectly well why you miss it so much even with the pain you have. Your body is in pain and makes it impossible for you to play, but your heart and mind are still very much "in the game"! Although it may be enjoyable to watch a game from the sidelines, for you it doesn't even come close to being in the middle of the action! So, you wish you could be more involved in some way? Maybe be a sportswriter for a local paper? Maybe being part of the team that takes care of away- game travel arrangements or puts together game programs, rallies, etc.? I dunno, I just think contacting someone and talking to that person might help you get "in" somehow. In the meantime, good luck to your Sooners![THUMBUP]

Yes that pic is in the old office. Zac and Brianna are doing great they are getting ready for the hollidays. Their Grandma is going to come for Christmas this year she lives in Seatle, WA. Yes, you told me about your cat. I'm glad your still having fun with her. that was cool u played football...what postion?...my body aches when i play softball...the only sport i still play pain free and excel in is tennis[THUMBUP]
OU is great but it would be nice to see the jayhawks run the table[LOL]

I was a running back although the quarter back would have liked me to play center(he was my boy friend[HEART])[LOL] I played fast picth softball too. Thats the only one I can play now without too much pain.

Sorry, I stand firm with my SOONERS because if someone else is doing better that means OU is loseing.[THUMBDOWN][LOL][LOL]
